International
Connecting talent, opportunities and knowledge across borders. Ellas Vuelan Alto is expanding its international presence to play an active part in a sector as global, diverse and connected as aerospace.
We want to give visibility to female talent in international settings, connect our members with global industry networks, and provide opportunities and spaces for collaboration.
As well as taking part in the main international forums, with the aim of putting our members in touch with associations from different countries, we promote partnerships with other organisations and joint activities.

ICAO · NGAP PROGRAMME
Since 2026, our president, Isabel Maestre, has been an Ambassador of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), a distinction reserved for a very small group of professionals nominated by Member States. Her work is part of the Next Generation of Aviation Professionals (NGAP) Programme, which seeks to attract, train and retain young and diverse talent in aviation and space, building a strong sector in which no country is left behind.

Women Aero-STEAM and B-space Foundation · Colombia and Chile
Women Aero-STEAM is a women-led organisation dedicated to scientific research and technological development in the aerospace field.
It works across Latin America, based in Colombia and with women from Chile and other Ibero-American countries, and is known for the Valkyrie Mission, a pioneering aerospace simulation project with Mars analogue missions that studies how the female body behaves in space and seeks to close the gender gap in science.
Alongside it, the B-space Foundation promotes the same goals in Colombia and Chile.
